Stop the Lynching of Troy Davis

From People of Faith Against the Death Penalty - http://www.pfadp.org/

The fight for Troy's life is not over. Please continue to take the following actions that we highlighted yesterday and encourage your family members, friends, and colleagues to do the same.

Urge the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles to reconsider their decision. Email the board members at Clemency_Information@pap.state.ga.us or fax their office at (404) 651-8502.

Please also reach out to Chatham County (Savannah) District Attorney Larry Chisolm and encourage him to withdraw the death warrant that he issued for Troy. You can reach Mr. Chisolm by phone at 912-652-7308 or fax at 912-652-7328.

Our partners at Amnesty International have put together an online action to reach the parole board and Mr. Chisolm here.

Additionally, our partners at Georgian's for Alternatives to the Death Penalty are encouraging people to contact Dr. Carlo Musso at Rainbow Medical Associates, which directly assists with executions in Georgia. Please encourage Dr. Musso to refuse to participate in Troy's execution. You can reach Dr. Musso at:

Today is also a "Day of Vigil" for Troy. In Georgia, events will be held in Jackson at Towaliga County Line Baptist Church, 153 Short Road, and in Atlanta on the steps of the Georgia State Capitol, 206 Washington St.

If you live elsewhere, please tap into a vigil near you or organize one.
